Magnus Wiik - guitar, banjo, dobro, mandolin, fiddle, cello, rhodes, harmonium, Irish flute, double bass, vocals

Trad is the sister album of Rad, and focuses on traditional music in the broadest sense. Nine interpretations spanning from classic old-timey numbers such as The Cuckoo and Wild Bill Jones, tackling Tigran Hamasyan’s Vardavar in a bluegrass-setting, paying tribute to heroes Elliott Smith (by re-imagining his iconic waltz) and Black Sabbath in War Pigs, and with some traditional Irish tunes to boot, the album is a highly personal statement on musical traditions.
